Mudguard seems tiny and less important but in fact it plays a vital role in riding. When it comes to muddy, sandy or watery battlefield. Any kind of bad circumstances you may want to avoid hence you want to upgrade your gear kits.

Regularly Bunker means the underground fort which also inspires us to name it. The Bunker is designed to be your protection. Set it up on your bike for preventing mud and spray up on your faces and eyes. It is perfect for both cross country and downhill. We choose Neoprene this material -synthetic rubber to make our gudguard pad. It has very good stability and maintains flexibility over a wide temperature range. Team Da Bomb applies with high technology and won't lose any opportunities to catch up with any trends.

The bunker has been sold for a while. Now the second generation has added with the third snap ring. The straps all come up with the rings that strengthen the intension. Team Da Bomb represents a seasonal update for our dearly cooperative and honored partners. Let us know if you are interested in pre-ordering. The Cobra is ready for manufacturing. Newly heavyweight handlebar is officially debuted on the stage. Team Da Bomb proudly introduces the rockstar- COBRA XC handlebar. The cobra weights 267 grams. Designed for XC riding yet strong enough for AM adventures as well. It’s consistent with the royal blood which is made of alloy 6061 and is applied with double butting. The width of COBRA lengths 710mm. Moreover, it comes up with selected color those are Classic black, Wasabi green and Barrel brown for your option. To accommodate the trend with most riders, the bar center for the Cobra is 31.8mm.

You could find some interesting designs on the cobra that reflects design is hard-core towards Da Bomb. We have been pushing the limits and see what’s more we can do. The Low Riser is made of butted aluminum alloy and has a sandblasting finish that actually hardens the bar surface. This reduces the chance of a scratch. A tough, smooth shaped and fine priced XC bar from Da Bomb.

Annual Prodcut launch Final BOMBSHELL! We have launched latest technology and new look during Eurobike. Now the new stuff officially are available to release!

The Bare Bones New member joins Da Bomb's pedal team, which features lightweight and thin. The thickness is just 11mm. The 1-piece-body is CNC machined aluminum. The axle is designed to work it lighter. An external nut at the end of the axle lighten the weight.The pins themselves are of a standard size, meaning that you can easily find replacements. These pins strengthen the riding circumstance that isn't slippery anymore. The platform is 105mmX100mm. The Bare Bones weighs a competitive 343 grams for the set.

The actual measuring is even lighterwight..341.5grams! Incrediable...

When it comes to the comparison with Bullethole pedal, as you see, it looks thiner than it, the weight is much more friendly.

Aug 31 to Sept 3 Eurobike show is a big event in bike industry. Hibike of course sent our staff to far far Germany to attend it. We are honored that we could have chance to work with our german dealer during the show. Thanks to them, everything got easier and smooth.

The booth location is as same as last year: B4- 510. Have you guys visited us yet? We utlizied the space and everything to meet the maxium benefit. It looks quite an outdoor style because of the tent and wood deplay. Those complete bikes exhibited the riding spirit of Da Bomb!

Ahhh, our dear regional German partners- Patric and Marcus Szabo, what a brotherhood! Left side one is Patric and another is Marcus. They did a great help!

Cherry Bomb 6, Castle Bravo in 18” and MORE…unveils Castle Bravo 29er

The trend, 29er, is with big wheel, bigger and high rotational inertia to make your bike cooler than normal. Well, our 29er model is based on the castle bravo, it’s not just a big- wheeled All- mountain bike. This version is the full suspension 29er. NEW BEGINNINGS FOR 2011

I came across this photo via FB today and it really touched me. Why? I thought it embodied everything that represents this time of the year. In the photo the rider is using an older Da Bomb model at least 3-5 years old. Yet there is the sunrise juxtaposed as the backdrop. The rider in the photograph is caught in a frozen moment where everything around him just stops. There are so many layers and depth in this image that it gives new meaning to farewell of the old and welcoming of the new.

Today is the 31st of December which is a junction between 2010-2011. For some it will be a time of reflection while for others it will be the closing of a chapter in their lives and welcoming the new year with arms wide open. Either way it's a transitional period for all of us which is why I chose to upload this picture on our Blog representing the junction between the things of the past with things that will be coming in the future.

I can tell everyone that Da Bomb Bikes had a very exciting year with the launch of the Tsar Bomba DH frame and some other new components. This coming year there will be other revisions, some will be small and others will be big. Let's not forget we're also sponsoring a UCI proteam too for the first time in Da Bomb's history. Either way we are committed to designing, developing and getting our products out there so all of you out there can have a more engaging experience on your ride.

RW: Well I had a lot of different ones. Season started out steady and I was confident that I was going to do well. Then things went wrong. I had several small injuries, crashes, punctures and a lot of hard times.

Also I think it effected me a lot with Niklas getting injured at the world cup in Leogang. It messed with my head for sure. But then I also had the most epic win ever at the European champs. It was special since it was like racing back home, some friends were there and also my parents so it was definitely special to me.

DB: Were you expecting to win the UCI European DH Championships?

RW: No definitely not. I had so many bad races leading up to that race I simply wanted to give it my all and stay on my bike. My goal was to get on the podium but even that would have been sick at the time.

DB: Why did you decide to start your own UCI team?

RW: It just felt weird last two years with me and my brother both racing and wanting to do the same thing but heading off with different teams & sponsors so that is one reason for it. But also I have been able to pick my own sponsors and in the long term I hope that I can help some young-guns and give them the chance to race internationally. I think it is something a lot of riders want to do but I simply had the opportunity to do so and I wanted to do the best I can with this opportunity.

DB: How has it been starting everything between yourself and your small crew of riders? Going well? Busy?

RW: Well I think we have created a great structure of people for the team. Erik Källström will be， myself & Niklas mechanic, great guy who used to ride the world cup just 2 years ago so he knows what he needs to do and I don’t need to worry about that side. Then Carina (my mum) is doing all the papers, logistics, accommodations & registration and finally we hired a up & comer photographer Mattias Lindqvist to come with us and shoot photo and film during the season. But yeah it has been and will be a busy time but it is definitely worth it to be happy and well prepared.

DB: Why did you choose Da Bomb out of all the other bikes on the market? What stands out about their bikes and what is your opinion on their products?

RW: Well first of all we go way back in time. I started off on the brand back in the days and have kept good relations & contacts with you guys through our distribution so it felt like a natural move. I also really like the new bikes coming out for 2011 and I think everyone at the company is real dedicated to step it up and do whatever needs to be done to improve.

DB: What do you wish to accomplish in your first season running and racing Team Are Bike Park?

RW: I want to do what I thought I could last year. Get in that top 10 at the World Cups. Of course I want to try to defend my title as Euro Champ as well but that is a different story, I also want to enjoy the races and being in this group of people feels real good and relaxing so I think it should be a fun year.

DB: Last question, tell me something outrageously hilarious about yourself. Could be anything, anyone any situation? So we can know more about the "other" side of Mr. Robin Wallner.

RW: Well there are so many stories from the road that I really can’t tell you here but last year we had quite a bit of trouble with our van. To make a long story short we had to break in to a rental-car station to find a phone number to the owner and make them come there. Found the phone number and called her up but made the mistake to call from their office-phone.

She saw that we called from her office and got crazy promising us to call the police.

Naturally we ended up without a rental car and had to walk the 12 km back home. We even called on an advert for a PW50 motorbike to not have to walk back.

Don’t know if it’s hilarious but it is a pretty good story and someday I can tell you the full-length version=)

Having been a professional rider for over 10 years, Herman continues to astound and set new records in Sweden within the MTB scene. Just because he has been around a long time does not not mean he still can’t roll with the younger pups. He often takes them to school and teaches them a lesson or two or three....

Herman has shown he is not only a great rider but also a great mentor having nurtured both upcoming downhill stars Niklas and Robin Wallner of W-Racing. He has won almost every downhill competition in Sweden and his current goal is to make the podium at the Veteran World Championships.

Ever since Dirt Jump/Street MTB appeared in the market
the merge had started
MTB started to have BMX stuffs and BMX started
TBH some BMX stuff cannot be used on MTBs
due to the difference of sizing

it's time to announce our top secret DJ/street bike
maybe some of you had seen it at our booth in Interbike
the name of it remains unknown
and so does other spec
but what i can tell you is
this babe runs a 83mm bottom bracket and 150mm rear hub
which is a standard for DH bike
yeah we know you're curious about this
why we do this?
the reasons are below

1: running a wider BB and hub can offer more strength
2:DH cranks and hubs had been very well developed, that makes them so light and strong
3:the most important, we can make the chainstay super short without any compromise

so here's what we've got

Hydro form chainstay,370mm(14.5") chainstay
with 26X2.6 tire clearance and 36T sprocket clearance
fit's almost any tire even a worm hooker( you know what i mean)
of course you can run smaller tire and smaller sprocket with this kind of clearance
but you can't go big with small clearance
the only way can make it shorter is to cut the BB in half or run a 24"
and the 24" version we're working on could reach 345mm(13.5")

using a pivotal seat could reach to the bottom

Da Bomb new tyre--SKULL DRIVE unleashed!!

Ages had past, knobby tyres always play some of the most important roles in Mountain Bike Industry, almost every MTB had to use knobby tyres front back, they can decide either you’re going down or not. Everyone knows that knobs on tyre look like chocolates or something that is square and black, but here’s a chance that may change your thoughts just a little bit.

So here comes Da Bomb Skull Drive, every tyre has it’s own knob design, it’s like a fingerprint, always gonna leave some marks on where you’d ridden, so we just make it Da Bomb way, I’m sure that not so many companies would like to make a tyre on this way, so for us, it’s a gamble, but we believe artwork can also be functional, so we add several designs on our typical logos

Center Ditch
As you can see on the tyre, we cut our cross logo into two pieces, sure it does have it’s reason, this will make the tyre more stable on high speed strait lines and more stable when doing manual, also improve water swapping capability without rising rolling resistance.
Skulls: the most important part of this tyre, the Skulls can fill up empty spaces between cross marks, reduce rolling resistance and provide extra grips on pavement, since these skull marks are smaller and with eyes and teeth on it, this can add more grips on offroad situation.

Slope Cross& Side Ridges: while on dirt jump trails, there’re always gonna have some tight turns to make the course more technical, while our previous model can only provide low rolling resistance but no more cornering grip. These side ridges can provide side grip when turning is hot and you’re full on.
Extra Sidewalls: most of the street riders are not human, they are spidermen, they ride on walls 24/7, and they climb stairs day in and day out, pinchflat is a major issue, so the Skull Drive presents super stiff sidewalls, probably one of the thickest on the market, this could prevent snakebites better than almost any other things; for wallriders, with diamond shape knobs on sidewalls, this tire got grip between both sides of edges, also if you want to do some skids, Extra Sidewalls are the only cure from snapping your tire into pieces.

It’s a knobby tyre for sure, but since we had already category it as a Street/Dirt Jump tire, rolling resistance is a issue too, so we also make it as smooth as possible to minimize all the negative force.

Yeah we do know it’s not a lightweight tyre, and we also know that it’s not impossible to build a 2.3 tire under 1.3 pounds (600 grams), even one pound (450 grams) could be possible, thanks for today’s technology; but what’s the point? Light tyres do make bikes lighter and accelerate faster, but what you’ll got will be paper sidewalls and thread that last about like 5 miles, maybe you’ll even get 10 pinch flats in your 5 mile trip unless you pump it to 100psi then there’s no more cushion, the point is this is a Street/Dirt Jump tyre, it still has to be strong enough to take the impact cuz we’re riding MTBs not Roadies.
